The Beginning of Sip & Paint Johor Bahru

Every creative journey begins with a simple idea.

For us, the idea was to create a space where art could bring people together.

Before this collaboration began, I was one of the participants attending Leenda’s Sip & Paint sessions. I experienced firsthand how art could create meaningful connections, encourage conversations, and bring people from different backgrounds together.

What started as a shared appreciation for creativity eventually evolved into something more. Today, Leenda and I are collaborating to share that same experience with others and build a creative community through Sip & paint Johor Bahru.

We believe that art has the power to connect people beyond differences. Regardless of color, race, culture, or ethnicity, creativity creates a common language that allows us to express ourselves, learn from one another, and celebrate our individuality.

We wanted to create more than just a painting session. We wanted to create an experience that encourages people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover the joy of creating.

In today’s fast - paced world, we often forget to make time for creativity. We become consumed by responsibilities, deadlines, and endless - to - do lists. Somewhere along the way, many of us stop creating altogether.

But creativity doesn’t disappear.

It patiently waits for us to return.

That’s why we created Sip & Paint Johor Bahru: a welcoming and inspiring space where everyone can feel comfortable exploring their artistic side, regardless of experience.

You don’t need to be an artist.

You don’t need to know how to paint.

You simply need to show up.

What makes these gatherings so special isn’t the artwork itself. It’s the laughter shared around the table, the conversations between strangers who become friends, and the confidence that slowly grows with every brushstroke.

As we prepare for our upcoming 2027 exhibition, Art Without Boundaries, these creative experiences allows us to build a community that believes art should be accessible, meaningful, and free from limitations.

This is only the beginning.
